Many of you have heard that our production got robbed at gunpoint on August 19th, while filming the new episodes to finish Season 1. The robbers took camera and sound gear - along with footage and audio from 2 days' worth of filming. They also stole two laptops (belonging to our Line Producer and Script Supervistor) and several cell phones and wallets.

 

We are beyond grateful that no one got hurt, and are humbled by the outpouring of love and support from friends and community members. We cannot express how much this means during a delicate time like this.

 

For those that want to do more to help us:

 

Although we had production insurance, this has still put us more than $9,000 further into debt, due to having to pay:

- $2500 for the insurance deductible

- $700 for a security guard for the three 12-hour days that were left of work

- $6000 to re-shoot 2 days' worth of lost footage 

 

And this doesn't include $4000 to replace the 2 crew members' laptops (who need them to make their living) and other miscellaneous costs for the crew and cast whose personal belongings got stolen.
