Amelia Mae Paradise is a radical feminist, performer, bookkeeper by day and bookworm by night.  She was the original founder/director/choreographer of Diamond Daggers queer cabaret burlesque company. She has appeared at The Ashby Stage as Jazmin in Left of Oz, and can be seen as an activist water nymph in the forthcoming film Goldfish from The Water Underground.

You may have seen her on any number of stages in the Bay Area in the past 13 years, including The Great American Music Hall, Bimbo's, The Place of Fine Arts, YBCA, The Victoria Theater, SomArts, ODC, CounterPULSE, and The Berkeley Repertory Theatre.  Amelia, with Diamond Daggers, has headlined across Europe from Helsinki to Berlin, Amsterdam to Zurich, and Rome to Stockholm.  With a degree in American Studies and Flamenco, this New Mexico native writes with sharp intellect and performs with fiery passion.
